Hey There Delilah

oooh, love that song... anyway

I finally finished the bunny!

Meet "Rabbi" the bunny (rabbit - T = rabbi...lol not my idea)
I fell in love with him but I know he's going to a good home. :)
He's made with some patons, some red heart, and some caron's simply soft. He's the bedfellows pattern from The Happy Hooker. His ears are not from the pattern b/c I wanted them to be more floppy.
Here's a video of him dancing for your hilariousity
I love that my sisters are such crafty kids. Here's my youngest sister (11 yrs) crocheting her first big project (a scarf)
I've also been progressing on my ripple blanket theat I started forever ago, but I'll post pics when I get more done.
Now I'm gonna go listen to people playing guitar (namely, my other sister and my best friend) beccause they are annoyed that I'm writing on my blog instead of listening to them
toodlsies!

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! That is the sound of caffeine rushing through my veins. 28oz. of yummy mocha latte caffeine coffee.

Anyway...
So I have been making tons of bookmarks lately. Like 6 in the past two daysNot a good picture, but I love the one with shell and the one with the green dinosaur(yup a dinosaur). I also made my mother a bookmark (she has been not so subtly hinting for the past 2 weeks) (not pictured)
Then since it was my little sister's(sister #1) friend's birthday and her present is going to be belated I made her a bookmark till I get her the real present (the bunny mentioned two posts ago) I love these beadds.

And now I made a green scarf ($1.99 a skein for homespun at amazing savings!) As great as that price is unfortunately it made a short scarf. I'll put it in my pile of stuff to sell anyway (its so warm and soft)

Little sister #2 modeling in her pj's (cutie!)

Also since the new crochetme is out (www.crochetme.com) (whoooooooo! yay!) I'm starting on the reduction tote bag (http://www.crochetme.com/reduction-tote-bag) as my new beach/pool bag. Done in double-stranded yellow and orange (summery). This project is to console me as it is currently pouring outside and will be for the next week. Instead of the reduction symbol I'm putting the word "Luverly" (I love my fair lady) because life should always be loverly. (I'm using a "u" instead of "o" becuase... well, I don't know why, I just like spelling "love" as "luv")

Okay, my hyper post is over (mainly because I keep having to delete words that I spell wrong because my hands are jittering over the key board) and I have to go finish the bunny (which I have been informed will be named Rabbi. Whatever makes her happy.)
joy and sunny days to come (oh naive little me)
shalom!

A Boy Named Sue

Woohoo! I started and finished an awesome bolero/shrug in 2 days! I'm so excited and I wore it on saturday and got tons of compliments so now my ego's completely boosted. I really love it.
It's done in love knot with a ribbed edge. Crocheted with Lionbrand- Pound of Love. Completely my own design (something I will eventually one day write day... eventually. I'm so happy that it worked out cause the idea just popped into my head on thurday morning and insanely I finished by friday afternoon. Thank god that lover's knot is very forgiving. Here are progress pics:
Just starting out. I love this stitch. It looks so pretty.
a very tired me showing the first side that got finished.
Here (lil sis modeling) the main part is finished but I had not added the ribbing yet.
Now my guilt over not crocheting that much is gone.
Today will be filled with cooking and stuff because Passover is tomorow night! ahhhhh!
